Spoon Theory #1
20x20
Spoon Theory is a metaphor used to describe the finite energy resources available to individuals living with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Each activity or task requires 'spoons,' and once they are used up, no more energy is available. 'Spoon Theory #1' visually explores the concept of limited energy capturing the overwhelming intensity of overstimulation, juxtaposed with the relentless necessity of enduring it. This work reflects the duality of such experiences—at times unbearable, yet often a routine reality.
